1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using SportSpot, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Services Description

SportSpot is a comprehensive platform that connects sports field owners with players looking to book sports facilities in Jordan. Our services include:

• Online booking system available 24/7 for players to reserve sports fields
• Field management tools for owners including setting discounts, blocked days, minimum and maximum booking limits, pricing, and time patterns
• Automated notifications via WhatsApp and push notifications for reservations, confirmations, and updates
• Accounting support through detailed monthly and yearly Excel reports for field owners
• Keeper management system allowing field owners to assign keepers to manage field reservations
• Real-time availability tracking and reservation management
• Secure payment processing for reservation fees through PayPal
• Search and filtering capabilities for players to find suitable fields by location, sport type, date, and time
• Player match-making system for creating and joining competitive or casual sports matches on available fields
• Competitive ranking system using the Glicko-2 algorithm, displayed as tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond), divisions, and rating points
• Team creation and management tools, and tournament organization including bracket generation and match scheduling

While we facilitate the booking process and provide management tools, we are not responsible for the actual sports facilities, their conditions, or their operations.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• To receive push notification updates about your reservations, you must install SportSpot as an app on your device. Visit our app installation page for instructions
• SportSpot reserves the right to block, suspend, or permanently delete any user account that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions or violates local laws and regulations of Jordan. This action may be taken without prior notice at SportSpot's sole discretion

4. Reservations and Payments

• Reservation fees (1 JOD) are non-refundable and must be paid through PayPal or credit/debit card
• All payments are processed securely through PayPal. SportSpot does not store or have access to your payment card information
• Field usage fees are paid directly to the field owner at the facility and are separate from reservation fees
• Cancellations must be made through the platform before the scheduled time
• We are not responsible for disputes between players and field owners

5. Match System & Competitive Features

SportSpot provides a match-making system and competitive ranking features for registered players. The following rules apply:

• Players may create or join matches on available sports fields. When all player slots are filled, a field reservation is automatically created on behalf of the match participants.
• Match Type — Ranked: Players choose to create a ranked match for competitive play. After the match ends, any participating player may submit the result. The result undergoes a 24-hour dispute window before being applied to all players' competitive ratings.
• Match Type — Friendly: Players may choose to create a friendly match for casual play. Score submission is not available for friendly matches and rankings are not affected.
• Tournament Matches: All matches created within a tournament context are automatically ranked and count toward participating players' competitive ratings.
• Score Accuracy: Players are required to submit honest and accurate match results. Submitting false, manipulated, or inaccurate scores is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination.
• Ranking System: Player rankings are calculated using the Glicko-2 algorithm and displayed as tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond) with divisions (I, II, III) and rating points (0–100). SportSpot does not guarantee the accuracy of rankings and provides the system for informational and competitive purposes only.
• Inactivity: Player ratings may decrease due to periods of inactivity. A comeback bonus is applied on the first win after an inactivity period. SportSpot is not responsible for any ranking changes resulting from the inactivity decay system.

6. Tournaments

SportSpot facilitates tournament organization for field owners and competitive players. The following rules apply:

• Tournaments are organized by field owners or platform administrators. Registration is open during the registration period only.
• Only team captains may register or unregister their team for a tournament. Teams must meet the tournament's sport, size, and eligibility requirements.
• All tournament matches are ranked. Participating players' competitive ratings will be updated based on tournament results.
• Players and teams must honor their scheduled tournament matches. Repeated failure to participate may result in account suspension.
• SportSpot is not responsible for scheduling conflicts, facility conditions, or disputes between teams or players during tournaments.

7. Field Owner Subscriptions

• Field owners must maintain an active subscription to list fields on the platform
• Subscription plans are available on monthly or annual basis with varying field limits
• Subscription payments are processed through PayPal and charged in USD
• Subscriptions automatically expire at the end of the subscription period unless renewed
• Fields will be hidden from search results when subscription expires
• No refunds are provided for cancelled or unused subscriptions

Field Owner Responsibilities

The Owner agrees to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding their sports fields, including but not limited to, name, location, sport types, amenities, images, and contact details
• Maintain accurate and current availability of their fields on the Platform
• Honor all confirmed bookings made through the Platform
• Handle all on-site payments for field usage fees directly with the users
• Respond promptly to inquiries and issues related to their fields and bookings
• Check that the price, discounts, blocked days, field location, or any other data entered by the field owner is reflected as required on the Platform. It is the Owner's responsibility to verify all information is accurate
• Resolve any conflicts in reservations (e.g., reservations made outside the SportSpot Platform conflicting with reservations made through the Platform). The Owner shall give priority to reservations made through the SportSpot Platform. Failure to do so may result in immediate service termination as outlined in this section
• Not cause any kind of damage, including but not limited to, damage to the service itself, SportSpot's reputation, or the availability of the Platform or one of its services
• Add their SportSpot field reservation link as a reservation method for their fields to their official company/organization website and social media accounts
• Notify SportSpot of any confirmed reservation resulting in a no-show by the reserver

Termination

SportSpot may terminate this Agreement immediately if the Owner breaches any term of this Agreement, including but not limited to, failure to prioritize SportSpot Platform reservations as outlined above. In such cases, the Owner shall have no right to a refund nor a termination notice. Upon termination, the Owner's field listings will be deleted permanently from the Platform along with all field related data.

8. Limitation of Liability

SportSpot acts solely as a platform provider and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the fields, disputes between Owner and users, or any other issues not directly related to the Platform's functionality.

SportSpot is not responsible for any issues caused by any third-party service used, including but not limited to, notification services, messaging services, server availabilities, payment gateways, or any other third-party integrations.

Users participate in sports activities at their own risk. We are not liable for any injuries, damages, or disputes that may occur at sports facilities.

9. Prohibited Uses

• Using the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempting to interfere with the platform's security or functionality
• Creating false or misleading information about facilities or reservations
• Harassing or threatening other users
• Attempting to bypass payment systems or subscriptions
• Submitting false, inaccurate, or manipulated match scores
• Creating or using multiple accounts to manipulate competitive rankings or circumvent account restrictions

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
